Healing Housing helps women recovering from alcohol and substance use addiction live independent, healthy, and sober lives. We seek to provide women the tools, structure, and loving environment in which they can remain sober, find mental health and financial stability, and develop their own spiritual path.
Healing Housing is rooted in evidence-based practices and 12 step recovery principles. We presently provide a comprehensive residential recovery program for women across Middle Tennessee with two homes that house 16 residents at a time, approximately 32 women yearly. We additionally serve 41 women through our graduate services, and 200+ through advocacy and referrals.
During the six-month program, residents have access to healthcare, counseling, financial literacy training, employment, spiritual direction and community building.
Since opening in 2017, Healing Housing has served more than 350 women, housed 120 and celebrated 36 graduations from our 6-month residential program. 82% of residents have remained sober during their participation. We are also home to a growing new sisterhood of 22 alumnae providing ongoing support for lifelong recovery.
